She obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Iowa and her Masters and Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from Morningside College. Jenni started as unit secretary and EMT at Horn Memorial Hospital since 2006 and became an instructor/Associate professor for St. Lukes college till 2021.

Family is very important to Jenni. Her and her husband Ed have been married 26 years and have three beautiful children, Gable (23), Claire (21) and Jack (17). Together they enjoy riding and showing pleasure horses. Jenni has been following Dr. VandeLune since July training under him and has enjoyed learning from an exceptional physician. She particularly has loved to learn not only the medical knowledge she is learning first hand from him, but also how Dr. VandeLune interacts with the patient seeing them as a person and family that he cares about. Dr. VandeLune has enjoyed training Jenni right out of her nurse practitioner schooling. “Jenni has an exceptional eagerness to learn and she gives very kind, compassionate care to the patients. She will carry out our mission and make you and your family a part of the Sioux Valley Family Health family.”
