Join Sioux Valley Family Health in our COLOR FOR FRIENDS drive
August 13th | 5:30pm-7:00pm | 115 E. Maple St
The Covid pandemic has greatly affected our elderly friends in nursing homes and assisted living centers. No longer able to have family come in to visit them, many of our nursing home residents are suffering from loneliness and depression and their health is declining because of it. Sioux Valley Family Health is sponsoring a COLOR FOR FRIENDS drive to brighten their day and help them feel loved.
Join us by printing off a coloring page below or by stopping into our clinic to pick up coloring pages that have cartoon character friends on them.
On Thursday, August 13th from 5:30-7:00 pm bring your kids to Sioux Valley Family Health at 115 E. Maple St where we will have tables set up outside for the kids to finish their pictures by writing a short note to a resident with the help of our 2019 Cherokee County Fair Queen Court and Little Miss Cherokee Queen Court girls. They will help your kids write a note and get it ready to mail.
Before you leave, your kids will receive a coupon from Dairy Queen for a free small ice cream cone or sundae. It is our hope, that kids and families will continue to think of nursing home residents with notes during the pandemic.
The COLOR FOR FRIENDS DRIVE is in memory of Richard Cutsor and his family.
Thank you to our sponsors joining us in the COLOR FOR FRIENDS DRIVE
